Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College
Located on the Jupiter campus, the Honors College is a selective, residential, four-year liberal arts and science college for students who are highly motivated and strive to take all their courses at the honors level. Wilkes Honors College students benefit from experiential learning and research opportunities, an average class size of 16 students, and personal attention from distinguished faculty.
Wilkes Medical Scholars Program
This is an early-admission program into FAU’s medical school for highly qualified high school seniors who strongly desire to pursue medicine as a career. Students receive a B.A. or B.S. from the Wilkes Honors College in Jupiter and an M.D. from FAU’s College of Medicine in Boca Raton.
The University Honors Program
Available on the Boca Raton Campus, the University Honors Program is an excellent beginning for a distinguished academic career with exceptional learning opportunities through special Honors Seminars. Advantages include small class sizes, connections with top-ranked faculty, special advising, and early registration.
Max Planck Honors Program
The Max Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience is housed on the FAU Jupiter Campus and is one of the most premier neuroscience partnerships in the world. This program provides honors students with exclusive enrichment opportunities, which include courses taught or co-taught with Max Planck scientists. Students work with world-class faculty researchers through a summer research program and have opportunities for directed independent research and an honors thesis with program faculty.
